Coco Grand Auditorium continued.......

Post by Brian » Mon Aug 25, 2008 12:16 am

I will contune some pics on this one over here. I dug someup of the camera card and took some of the fretboard. The ones of the body are old and you have seen those before.

During the binding.....gotta take some new ones.

Prior to binding

I juse bound the fretboard and popped some frets in. I will do the fret ends and work after gluing it on the neck.

Image
I am binding the peg head right now......more miters!! I am stoked thought because the binding and purflings on the body are carried down the fretboard, back of the neck, and around the peg head. This customer doesn't want fret markers, just side dots so the fingerboard binding is the subtle focus. I will finish the peg head binding and inlay my H the next few days.

Nice lines

More lines... :)

I love all those purflings, but it definately adds a lot of work!! :D

Thanks guys...I have a knack for taking pictures when things are covered in glue and lopsided still. My wife guards her camera well, and I need to get my own shop camera so I can be on it better. Despite the gory pics, this is going to be one hell of a guitar.

Thanks for looking!

Looks good to me!

Are you going to finish the top of the fingerboard binding with anything?
