Recycled #4 douglas fir

Times are tough, the world's economy is takin' a beating; What should conscientious luthiers do in response?! How about some scrounge builds! Nothin' fancy, nothin' from far away, and lots of imagination...

One of the nicest "recycled" guitars I've seen. And it sounds great!
Sounds like it already has lots of headroom--you were really digging in there at the end of your video.
So, thoughts on Doug. Fir?
