I have the first one strung up. After I get all of the photos sorted, I will post the process.

Still need different bridge pins, lower the action, end pin, clean up the finish, and a few minor things and adjustments.

Grant, that is truly an amazing guitar. You my are a MASTER! Did you ever post the diemensions? A muesum piece for sure.

Thanks, everybody, for the kind words. I reworked some bridge pins to a flatter top and larger abalone dots to match those on the original guitar. Used the same abalone blank that I used in the decorations below the bridge.

Steve, Bridges on the original guitars were solid ivory. I do have a chunk of mammoth ivory that is almost big enough, but not quite. I found some knife handle material, some kind of resin, that looks almost exactly like the mammoth ivory that I have, so that is what I used. I considered using bone, but the density seemed way too much for such a small, lightly built guitar.
