Times are tough, the world's economy is takin' a beating; What should conscientious luthiers do in response?! How about some scrounge builds! Nothin' fancy, nothin' from far away, and lots of imagination...

you aren't that far behind either. I am still working on mine out of Honey Locust. I bent and joined the sides, put in a rosette and cut out the soundhole on the top, and have glued up two different backs. Then I stopped. It's on my storage shelf, and I show it to people, but am embarrassed that I've showed no progress. But I'll be posting more in a month or two as my health and stamina improve.

Show us what you want to do; you'll receive help, as you must know by now.
