Started building some more axes. Got a Les Paul type neck thru started and neck wood cut out for two basses. I can't believe how much I've got done in a few days on these as opposed to the months of work on the bass. That thickness sander makes all the diff, plus I think I know a little more the second time thru. Gonna try my hand at a carved top with a sunburst finish. It's plain maple so I gotta spruce it up somehow. Not ready to turn figured wood into sawdust yet.
I'll get a build thread and pix started soon.
