Crazy, not sure if I'll finish it by Sat; whatever it'll get there. Here's the catch up pics. Fingers crossed.

Wow Todd, you do mighty fine work, even under the pressure of a deadline.

I have a couple of questions on some techniques, but I'm going to wait until after Saturday to ask them!

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to finish a new bridge design, but I might have to steal a bridge from a burned guitar to fill in. The ebony won't match the fretboard and head plate but oh well. We'll see what gets done tomorrow. I think it'll be an all-night'er the way these crappy spot fills and burn thru's have been going. Releveling is a pain!!

Finished!!! Hurray. Done at 1:30pm auction day. I strung it up at 11:30 pm the night before so it would have a chance to "feel the burn" of the strings for at least 12 hours (ish). Just used another nut and saddle from a burned guitar so I could at least string it up. It sold for my base price which was great. Best thing I've ever made and I only got to play it for 3 minutes.

I should have made the neck cap out of Coco but I didn't have the wood, and the new bridge design didn't make it so I went with the standard MN/Guild design. Took it out to the models name sakes shop before I took photo's, it was great to be able to show how much I've learned in such a short time. Watched him bind 3 guitars' wbw side shelf purfling in 32 minutes, its was just one layer at a time, but so quick and the miters were perfect every time and he free cut them with an exacto knife, free hand!!!!! Awe inspiring! Got a quick lesson to make my next ones better too. Here's to hoping I can learn to do it as good as he does.
