Looks Like I Should Get Busy

Post by whitespruce » Sat Jan 21, 2023 6:21 pm

Well, while cleaning and organizing my shop, I discovered all sorts of interesting stuff. Some of which I sort of knew I had, but not nearly this much of.

I knew there were a few bent sides, but thought many were probably rejects. Not so. While some have relaxed a bit and will need some touch-up, there are at least a dozen perfectly useable sets.

And enough good sets of bindings to go with most of them.

And plenty of joined and thicknessed tops, many with rosettes installed, or at least, the channels routed.

Not as many backs, but that is an easy fix.

And no shortage of necks in various stages of completion.

So, maybe it s time to get cracking again and put some of these pieces together. Just need to decide where to start.

Wow! Great find, Grant. Yep, looks like you'll be busy and well on the way to several new builds.

It looks like enough work to keep you going until your 90th, Grant! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

I look forward to seeing your builds! ๐Ÿ˜

Ian

p.s. I would happily buy some pre-shaped one-piece necks, if you have some Spanish Cedar or Mahogany ones.
