How did you cut out the soundport? Did you reinforce the area any?

Thanks guys,
i cut hole with 3/4 forster bit, reinforce back of side with block to prevent cheeping.Rays i cut with dremel and 1/16 bit.Filed with small file for couple hours :cry: and chamfer with sending sponge.That is about it.
Thanks E jig is just fantastic,and working perfect. Looking for 3/4 plexy to make another one just becouse of look

Update on my Mahagony guitar.Yesterday and today what i did

i do 16" radius on fingerboard with my flor Grizzley belt sender.Jig i did on my own.

I use 25.34 scale for this build

Home made fret cuting jig

Driling 1/4' holes for dots bought long time ago at Grizzley, they just fine mother of pearle.25"
I apply a little bit of ca glue which is realy thick and good and than just put dot in place and press with little piece of scrap plexy to make flash with fingerboard.

Taper my fingerboard on my home made fingerboard taper jig

Binding fingerboard with curly maple

Insert side dots they are black 1/16" diametar

Preparing fret wire

Cutting tang.This tool is goooooood

Presing frets with arbor press.Eq presure on whole fret.

Finished fingerboard and it is ready to instal on neck

Boy that bound fingerboard looks great Z. With all the jigs you've made, you really got this down! Very impressive, I'm still kinda feeling my way thru each step, and hoping I don't miss any! :D
