I got to poke through Grant's pile of Ebony fingerboards about a year ago. There were some that just rung like a glass bell, so I started pawing and snagged every one i could find that did that - They're really somethin'...

I got your email ,,very cool...It really make's the differents having really hard wood for the finger board..even better if it ring like a bell.... ;)
years and years of playing sure take a ToOl on your finger board,, man...well am going to do and inlay on the board...I try to show as much photos
as I can ,..I think am going to do a vine..inlay ...should go good with the sound holes..well for now thanks for looking guys...

ya I got that tung oil today ,,wow it seem so thick..can't wait to try it out... on the other side . I was surf the web today and looking at allied for spruce and notice the prices on there top woods...wow...$150 for a AAAA top guess I should have stock up when prices were affordable...hate to think what the price are
on a cello top...these day... good to have friends.....

Image sunday down at the shop this morning...nice day here..Heres the most important part of building a harp is making the neck block fit and testing the angles and the lengths are right ...It all start from here guys..

thanks for the comments ...how every thing...Jim...

I got a little ahead of myself and today I glued the top on...so I would have work for tuesday ,I hot piped the side today glued the tail and kerf on
by later in the day I glued the top on...I show photos in the morning ,by the time I look at what time it was I had to go and get the kids from school
I did talk to jim mitchell today he called me to talk about the plane he sending me (nice guy) Hey Jim I check out your blog and what a cool looking
arch you did ..very nice. You can call me again and love to talk moore...welll for now...have to make dinner....

ps Eben I sent your wood out today also ups ground ...I do have a tracking number I ll have to get it out of my wife car when she get home..
