Man that's some serious luthiering going on! Especially when you see the choice of dip for the chips and crackers, naptha and linseed oil! :o

Looking good Dean. Does AF mean african satinwood?

Yes Joe- African satinwood.

"African Satinwood

African satinwood (turraeanthus africanus) is also referred to as Avodire and African white mahogany. It is native to tropical west Africa and grows from Angola to the Ivory Coast.
Avodire is a white to creamy gold-colored wood, often yielding a figured pattern ranging from a block mottle to crotches and swirls. It has a deep natural luster and has been compared to other fine furniture woods, specifically satinwood and mahogany. It is a rare wood that has many of the same tonal qualities of maple and rosewood with the workability of mahogany. This wood has been described as bright sounding with plenty of volume. " *

The bridge and fretboard will be persimmons.

Thanks Joe,

That Persimmon looks mighty familiar - I think I have the sister to that fingerboard. Came from a feller down yonder in Mississippi. (Hey Jesse, hope you're watching this build!)

Lookin' great, Dean!
