Wow, what a great journey. I've never made an electric but I was going to make an acoustic baritone and now I'm leaning toward a prebaritone. You mean I can just use a banjo scale?

Joe, you do great work! I was also influenced by the hesh post with pix of his thin parabolic braces. I was going that direction anyway and he pushed me a little harder. That ladder backed top is interesting, it only has one lower brace plus bridgeplate. I'm sure that must work out after all these y...
