Thanks Mark, I just went and mic'd a scrap of my fish paper and it measures around .023", I'm just about out so I need to source some also, haven't started looking for it yet. Let me know if you find a good source. Joe LMII.com white and black veneer sheets in 0.01, 0.02, 0.03 & 0.06 thick...

Mike, I build my molds in a similar fashion to keep the weight and material cost down only I use just the upper and lower. As stated before, you should not have a problem as long as your inside caul does it's job distributing the pressure. The bending pipe: I made and electric one using an old mobil...

We agree...more pics. Looks real nice and good, clean work. Tell me, is this your first 12 string? Are you following a tried and true method on the top bracing or winging it? I've never made a 12 so I'm just curious about the bracing. Looks extremely heavy in comparison to my 6 string bracing...just...
