Todd, that other top should be there tomorrow or the next day at the latest. It does have a bit of color, but it taps almost like glass. Hope it will work OK.

Well, I just ground it down on a bench grinder. Marked it with a pencil and kinda eyeballed it. Ground it at the right angle, and that was it.
Should be no problem with it getting dull since all it will be cutting is fairly soft bracewood and there ain't that much cutting on one guitar.

What a really cool idea on the back bracing. Why didn't I think of that. Use the dish, laminate the braces and they stay in the radius after the glue dries. Way cool!
