Re: Gold Top Les Paul?

I can tell that it's "reliced" (and love it!) but can't really see the gold leaf on my monitor. Top looks warm, really cool vibe. Can't wait to see it in person!

Why RED paint? (Does this have anything to do with the Joe's overalls self portrait series?)

Thanks for sharing it's story. Beautiful guitar, Michael! Do you still have this one? How do you like the sound?

Re: Indian Rosewood low-tuned 12 String

Joe,

I had no doubts, but congrats for ticking the 2 most important of the 3 checkboxes. (I already knew it was beautiful, the third checkbox.)

I just wish you were making a batch of 12.

Re: Indian Rosewood low-tuned 12 String

Lookin' beautiful, Joe!

The guitar too!

Hey, I've sat in that chair, and I've thumped that guitar body! (sounds drummy!)

She really is elegant and understated, Joe.

Re: Indian Rosewood low-tuned 12 String

I wonder what the reasoning is on not doubling the G string? It's funny because some make a 7 string where the only double course is the G string...…….. I know. It seems odd that John Butler had a luthier leave out the high G string. I wasn't aware of a 7 string with the double course G (octaves, o...
