Re: Sing The Body Electric - Building a Parter
E, As we PM'd you know that I'm in for doing this build with you. A local high school technology teacher, a former student in my department at Ball State, has been working with the Purdue guitar building course and workshops. He has a few CNC bodies and I'm gonna buy a single cutaway body with neck ...

Re: Sing The Body Electric - Building a Parter
Eben, I've been wanting to build one; even started one with some curly ash. It didn't glue right, so I stopped, but still have the ash. Thanks for sharing that!

Re: NAMM
Good luck with your heart tests, Brian. I remember those days, weeks, and even months of dread myself. Worked out fine in the end. I'm still alive and kicking about 15 years after open-heart surgery. That procedure is the extreme, of course. What I'm trying to say, my friend, is that there is so muc...

Randy,
Very nice!!! That rosewood top reminds me of some old antique instrument, which is in direct contrast to the pickups! Should be an amazing looking guitar.

Re: The Back Yard Build Contest!
E, I'm in! I have already cut down the honey locust tree, which was stimulated by the other BYB in some other ethernet. And some walnut for accents. But since the nearest I can come to a top is some Eastern red cedar (and that might no longer be available) I've been thinking of a resonator guitar. T...
