Re: Curly Maple Cutaway for Debbie
Maybe we can get Steve to take some pictures of his old but improved model, as it will likely be awhile before I upgrade... Meanwhile I'll take some close-ups of my model and post them here. Erik, I went shopping for a router plane and saw the Lee Valley planes. If all I was going to do was rosettes...

Re: A Pair of Ditsons
NIce and clean and great joints Joe.
I'd be tempted to go without the binding...
And fast too. You are really crankin them out. Thanks for letting us come along for the ride.

Re: Curly Maple Cutaway for Debbie
Lefty, I think I'll try and build the new and improved model that Steve has, but until then this one works. Most of the improvements are related to making it easier to adjust to the correct radius. Someone also showed a cutter for the binding (Waddy?) where he used a thicker blade set-up to scrape r...

Re: Curly Maple Cutaway for Debbie

Here is a picture of Steve trying to remember how the jig was supposed to work... On the table you can se...

Re: My first commission (Kelley's Guitar)
Thanks Steve. I met up with Kelley's husband to talk about what he wants in an electric and gave him the guitar to take home. He pulled it out and checked the intonation on the 2B and 3G which needed a little work and he liked the correction and thought the action which we lowered slightly at Steve'...

Re: My first commission (Kelley's Guitar)
Thanks Wes and welcome to the Forum.
The nut and saddle are buffalo horn. Its a little on the soft side for a steel string, but she uses light strings and doesn't use different tunings, so it should last awhile.
