Closing up the Body - Having braced the back and the top, I was ready to close up the box. I like to fit both the back and top before gluing either on. Been gluing on braces and carving tops and backs for the last couple of weekends. Meanwhile the camera was off on a field trip so I didn't get pictures of the process. Just go back and look at how I did the back... ;) I like to make my braces as light as I can get them, so I start with a profile sim...

Things have been hectic at the Feissli Household, but I have been catching time in the garage as I can. With the Humidity levels rising and falling almost as quickly as the stock market, I've had to glue braces as the opportunity provided. Got them all glued in and carved though... http://i122.photo...

Eben, I got ideas for both categories, but if I have to start it in the next month or two I'll have to pass. Just too much stuff going on. Scrounge - I'm not sure but I think the crate they packed that Grizzly Band saw in was pure spruce... 8-) Would probably take some creative joining to get a good...
