I made up the label awhile back and chose the date on the label because that happens to be her birthday... years from now she'll notice it was her birthday and nobody will remember that the guitar wasn't done by then.

How did you cut out the soundport? Did you reinforce the area any?

Upper bout - 10"
Waist - 8 3/4"
Lower bout - 14 1/2"
Body Length - 19"

I'm pretty sure Steve took the upper bout from a standard Parlor shape and the lower bout from his mid-sized Gibson L1 / L2.

I like to fit the top and back to the rim before I glue either on, so while it's still in the form I mark the braces and cut the slots.
