Grand Concert for Freegift, Builder Swap

Post by Joe Sustaire » Sat Aug 15, 2009 6:40 pm

Dean has given me free reign to build him a guitar for our swap, so I'm building him a GC size, 14 1/2" lower bout, with tone-bar/ladder bracing. This one will have a pinned bridge. I'm using a set of claro walnut I got from Dennis and pairing it with a curly bear lutz top.

I joined the top and back plates with HHG using the tape method, works real nice.

Wow!

Great choices Joe with both the materials and design elements. I think your build will fill a hole in my arsenal and begin a new path of exploration for me.

I really like what I see so far!!!

Thanks Joe!
