Thought I'd throw a couple of pictures out to show that I've not been totally idle...
On this one, I've glued the ears on the headstock
Shaped the headstock, cut the truss-rod slot, and started fitting and shaping the tenon. Also installed the threaded insert in the tenon. All I have pictures of though are the initial fitting to the body.

Hey Raymond
Looking good so far. How did you cut your sound port holes. Did you drill them before bending or after?
I have yet to do a sound port, but am considering it.

David,
I drilled them after attaching the top but before attaching the back. I tried to fit a backer board to the curve, but still got some tear-out.

Well... been away for awhile, busy with life as many others are. I've been getting time off again on again, and when that happens I tend to stop taking pictures. I finished shaping the headstock and neck and here I'm gluing on the Headplate
And here it is with a coat of epoxy.
I thought I had taken a couple of pictures showing the inlay, but I can't find them so I must not have.
Here are some pictures of the body with epoxy as well. As soon as the humidity lets up, it will be time for the finish.
As you can see in the background, Olivia's paduak is about the same state... I'll be posting those pictures next.

She's a beauty, Raymond! Did you do a tinted wash coat of shellac or something before the epoxy? That shot that shows the sides is such a warm, beautiful color. Or, are the sides heartwood?

Dennis, I didn't do anything to tint the wood, but it is nice and dark for maple. I think I may have overheated (aka burnt) the sides when I was bending them. The darker spot near the sound-port is actually a burn I couldn't get all the way out. They definitely darkened some when I put the epoxy on though.
