FWIW. My logic on keeping the color bands thin is so it doesn't distract from the "F" hole. My latest Tele has a Koa top, and has a similar burst finish.

Well, "IF" you put one on, and then have another poll to figure out what type, consider my vote cast for a wood pick guard. Never seen it on a Tele, But I'm thinkin' you're the man to make it happen! :mrgreen:
