Well, as I had mentioned, this guy disappeared over 4 years ago, so it HAS been on the back burner  but I do have a show coming up over Labor Day, and this is an easy one to give me another new guitar to show.

G
That fellow will probably attend the show, and say "I wondered when you'd finish this..."

Or that's how it would go for me, anyway...
Great looking guitar, by the way!

Strung up last night and initial setup done this morning.

Just need to trim and polish the nut, then ready for the show this weekend.

I should mention again that this is from the huge cocobolo logs I bought in 2004. Really tight straight grain, pretty much looks like some of the old BRW from back in the day. Think I ended up with around 150 board feet or so of that stuff.

Nice to this one done, Grant. Does it sound as great as it looks?

Beautiful, Grant! This should sell quickly (but don't give it away! It has a $300 Cocobolo set.)

Just wondering. Is this guitar still around> I'll bet it sounds great by now.
I spent most of my money on guitars, women and single malt. The rest of it, I wasted.

Yes, I still have it, Tom. We will be playing it this weekend at stringfest.
