Take notice here, last of the real men, thicknessing the plates with a plane! He don't need no stinking drum sander! :D My hat's off to you Dean, I did that on two guitars, then I found a deal on a used sander.

Sure is looking nice! And I appreciate your thoughtfulness Dennis, but I think it's going to be very happy here north of the red river! :D

Looking good Dean! A little different than other x brace designs I've seen, particularly the fan braces behind the bridge plate. Also it looks like you're building on a solera or builders board? Is this a "true flattop? Inquiring minds want to know. Tell me your "build" philosophy and thought process. :D
