Todd,
What an amazing build. Thanks for sharing.
My guestion would be...how do you keep your glued up neck stack stable while you get it clamped up.
If I tried that it would be like the old Paul Simon song, "Slip Slidin' Away."

Re: Curly Maple Cutaway for Debbie
While we are talking about router planes...
Looking at old Stanleys I notice open throat and closed throat models. Would one be better than the other for removing the rosette channel?

Re: Curly Maple Cutaway for Debbie
Yea, what Joe said.

Re: Curly Maple Cutaway for Debbie
Raymond, Neat little rosette cutter. I may try to make something like that. The sound or a router is not something I like to listen to any more than I have to. As far as your earlier bending adventure, have you checked the temperature on your unit to see that it is getting as hot as you think it is?...

Joe,
Like I said, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
As far as I am concerned your Totenship is safe.
Really enjoying your build,
Lefty (Never came close to Eagle but I sure had me some good times)![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Eben,
Are you saying that when you wrap the belt you leave 1/4" between the windings?
Us motor heads need pictures some times to understand.
What aftermarket belts do you recommend?
