Re: Small Concert, SC, Prototype BRW/ Itialian
Hey Todd, thanks for showing your design process. That's some good info on tweaking shapes you like into something a little more personal. And looking at the "cast-off" material your building with, I definitely need to get a better class of buddies. :D Any high end builders out there looki...

Re: Mr.Z's 12 string
Hey Z, that is sure nuff' looking fine! Is that what is called a slope shouldered dread shape body? I like the shape and your binding and herringbone looks great against that top and nice maple.
Very nice indeed,

Looking good Raymond,
So that's where all the go-bar sticks are!

Re: A Pair of Ditsons
Sorry Eben, nothing quite that esoteric. I just used the wrong word, I meant fretboard overhang. Just trying to get a fairly level shelf so the fretboard will lay correctly on the top.

Back to work on these. Re: Ladder Braced 12 String, Long Scale
Thanks guys for all the nice comments. I'm sure enjoying playing her. These old guitars like they used in the 20's and 30's are what got me started building. The good old Stella types and especially the long scale 12 strings were just out of my reach. But I'm playing now! David, stew-mac carries the...

Re: Ladder Braced 12 String, Long Scale
Okay, to catch up here. After giving the finish several days to cure, I started stringing it up. As I got all the strings on and started tuning it up, the bridge let go with a big pop. After pulling out what's left of my hair I consulted our esteemed community with my problem. Eben asked for details...
