Wow, that is some fine looking work Ron!!! I was going to ask if you cut out the pearl yourself or was it from one of the eastern suppliers on ebay. I guess your photos answered that for me. Great job, heck I think you just might make a harp/guitar builder after all. :D

Hey Ron, I'm starting to get it. After you plane, sand, or scrape off the backing material you have the rope design on the side of the binding, right? From the top you get a checked binding. Going to be sharp, I need to try this, I love rope bindings, you often saw that on old "cowboy" gui...
