If I remember correctly, this one is a bit thinner wood that your last Goncalo dred.

Always so much fun to look into your guitars and see your bracing - kind of 'organic' and kind of 'mad scientist' (and you know I love that!)

Gonna be a beauty. That was an exceptional piece of ultra-straight grain, ribbon striped Mahogany for the neck. The body blank is extremely well quartersawn too. If you tell me you're going to paint the guitar some opaque color, I think I'll cry.

Grant,

For the laminated linings: did you make the upper cutaway lining (against the top) and the lower cutaway lining (against the back) in 2 separate molds? Seems like it would be impossible to cram an upper cutaway lining into place, where a compound cutaway side meets the back.
