Re: Well guess I gotta build again - Beng jumbo
Hey Grant I am very much looking forward to building with the Beng that you are sending me. I have decided that I will be doing a parlor. I just bought some really nice spruce tops that I am itching to get into, and I also got a very nice set of Kluson tuners that I want to try out. I love your rose...

Re: Volume/Tone Pot Query
Thanks Eben Ya brow beatin sob ;) Inside joke...sorry! I only have a .473 cap on the tone pot. No cap on the volume pot. In all of the wiring diagrams I have come across, I don't think I have seen a cap on the volume pot. It is my understanding...and I am pretty much at kindergarten level when...

Volume/Tone Pot Query
Hey Guys Can I combine a 250k pot with a 500k tone pot? My Gilmore ESG prototype is using 250k pots on both with a .473 cap on the tone pot. The tone is very fat and bassy on both pickups. Turns out it is a great rock sounding guitar when you plug it in to a Marshall with the gain on 10. But when yo...

Re: Spec Parter Tele
The guy who bought...put a deposit on it can't put it down. He comes by the shop everyday to play it. There have been a couple really good players give it turn and the consensus is that it's pretty damned great. Those Lace pickups are the bomb. I will make pretty good money on it, so will probably d...

Spec Parter Tele
So...while I have been waiting for glue to dry and finish to cure on some other projects, I decided that I would do up a parter Tele on spec. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v65/gilmoreguitars/DSC01307.jpg It is a quilted maple top with alder body. Vintage Tele neck with brass fretts. Perloid pick...

Re: Healdsburg Guitars, Twins!!
Todd
I am completely intrigued by this. It is something that has alway been out there on the edge of my head, but have yet tried to put into actual building practice.
I am going to take a couple of my guitars tap to see where they are front and back.
My propellar is spinning now!
Thanks
David
