Re: Sing The Body Electric - Building a Parter
OK, a note on eBay bidding based on a PM conversation with Jim, just in case not everybody is as much a nerd as I am when it comes to such stuff. Know also that some folks use 'sniper' programs, (Like me), which I can load with a high bid and instruct the software not to do anything until the last ...

Re: Sing The Body Electric - Building a Parter
Well cool; glad somebody other than me thinks it's a good idea.... E I actually have several neck through-the-body electrics started. They fell off the back burner quite a while ago, but someday, some way, I've got to finish them up to justify carefully storing and moving them through several house...

Re: Ladder Braced Grand Concert, Build #7
Hi Joe
That is a very creative andintuitive fix for the neck. No reason why it shouldnt work. Actually, if the wood is from the same board, it should almost be invisible. The only person who will know about it is you, and then you can tell people you did it on purpose.

There is some beautiful figure in that top! Is your headstock veneer paduk? I sort of looks like it. If it is, it will darken drastikcally over time. I love paduk.
Cheers

Re: Curly Maple Cutaway for Debbie
Hey Ray I just went over this thread...nice save on the sides. I usually got to between .080 and .085 thick on my side.
